We have just made available on line our General Plan, adopted, June 8, 2011.  Please feel free to look it and the accompanying maps over.  As you do, remember, this is only a general plan for the future.  There have been no new ordinances passed or zoning changes made

A general plan is required of every town and city to be able to apply for Grant funding and to comply with state requirements.

Randolph is located near the geographic center of Rich County on a high plateau with an average elevation of 6,300 feet.

The first group of settlers from St. Charles, Idaho, led by Randolph H. Stewart camped on a knoll south of the present
town site on March 14, 1870.  A week later Apostle Charles C. Rich came and assisted in laying out the town, then named it
RANDOLPH

We are a town of great extremes, from 90 degrees in the summer to -40 degrees in the winter.  But full of hearty people
that love their town and their neighbors.
